Outdoor Adventure: “Fly Fishing With Oliver White”

Air, Water, Fire, and Earth were formally believed to compose the physical universe. These elements are now the paintbrushes for adventure athletes whose canvas encompasses the great outdoors. These are the Elements Oliver White.

SIMPLY PUT, I’M A FISHERMAN.

It’s the most natural outcome for someone who fell in love with fishing early. And by love, I mean: willing to follow wherever fishing wanted to take me.

Travel to a new country to investigate a fishery? I’ll be packed in an hour. Explore an uncharted river? I’m in. Stalk a fish that’s never seen a fisherman? I want to solve the puzzle, crack into that animal’s head and figure out how to catch it. After years of living in fishing’s gravity, I’ve witnessed how it can alter orbits beyond my own.

World’s Best Gardens: “Bowood House – Private Walled Garden”, England

From The Tatler (June 10, 2020):

The Marquess and Marchioness of Lansdowne’s private walled garden is the jewel in this botanical crown. Attached to the back of the main house, the garden is surrounded by a 16-foot-high wall and is made up of four distinct one-acre squares. It includes a 250-metre formal border, a picking garden, working greenhouses, chickens and a kitchen garden full of fruits and vegetables.

The Hot border designed by Rosie Abel Smith with a mixture of wonderful purples, oranges and reds seen through an arch of Laburnum Vossii - Bodwood House Private Walled Garden - Tatler - June 10 2020There is a feeling of mounting enchantment as you wind along the drive to Bowood House, the Wiltshire home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Lansdowne. It could be meandering through the dense pine forest, thick with wild garlic underfoot, that begins to stir the senses; or the sight of the sculptural tulip trees; and the heady scent of the roses is certainly tantalising.

Top New Travel Videos: “Amsterdam – Timelapse 4K” By Albert Dros (2020)

Filmed and Edited by: Albert Dros

My long awaited timelapse film about my current hometown Amsterdam is finally finished! This film consists of footage shot during a 2 year period (mostly before COVID), has all different seasons transitioning into each other and even has a lunar eclipse above the city skyline.

With this timelapse film I wanted to create something unique. I wanted to create a visual experience with beauty, flow and emotion. I want locals to be proud of their city when they watch this film, and tourists wanting to visit (even more). I put this all in a film packed with little details. There’s a big ‘fun facts’ list that can all be read on a dedicated page I created.

Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful (and relatively little) cities in the world. Our city is not ‘spectacular’ as it does not have impressive skyscrapers and hyper modern buildings. But It’s just the whole atmosphere with our beautiful old buildings, romantic canals and everything that comes with it.

I’m super excited to finally release this film and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
