After the start of The Ocean Race was delayed until 2021, due to Covid-19, the 11th Hour Racing Team decided to relocate their new IMOCA 60 sailing vessel from France back to the team’s home base in Newport, RI. Outside TV rides along on their transatlantic voyage.
The Ocean Race, the world’s toughest, fully-crewed around the world sailing race, has enthralled and inspired a global audience since 1973.
At the same time it has provided new perspectives on the ocean that covers more than 70% of our blue planet, bringing some of the most remote corners of the Earth up close and personal for viewers around the world.
Recent years have seen a growing awareness of the challenges facing the ocean and an increasing appreciation of the fundamental role it plays in maintaining the health of the planet.

I’ve never spent two years making a Monsoon film before, so this was a first. Part of it was wanting to put out the best possible film I could, but a good chunk of it was the fact our recent summer storm seasons have been subpar at best, with 2020 the worst I can remember. 2019 wasn’t horrible, but there was about zero dust storms, with only a single haboob clip to salvage from that summer, so I wanted to wait until I had something more to add to it.
Luckily for me, August 16th, 2020 happened and we scored a fantastic haboob chase from Casa Grande to Gila Bend along Interstate 8. It was what I had been hoping and praying for to complete this film. That was the only legit haboob day of the past two years and I’m glad I was there for it! Not only for this film, but for the BBC and one of their upcoming projects I’m proud to be a part of!
A lot was left on the cutting room floor, in fact, it might be an entire other film, but it was important to me to include only the best, most unique stuff I saw the last two years, plus keep it under 9 minutes long! Finding music was a struggle, so I decided to work once again with Péter Nánási and have a custom score created for Monsoon 6. And boy, he knows me well and hit it out of the park! Thank you sir!
I hope you enjoy this film! It’s the result of 30,000+ miles, hundreds of thousands of time-lapse frames captured and 60+ days chasing. Some highlights include epic downbursts, gorgeous light, mountains, desert, a stunning supercell and yes, rainbows. Photographed all across the great state of Arizona, where I’ve lived my entire life.

Travel Videos: ‘Lagazuoi Cable Car’, Falzarego Pass In The Italian Dolomites
Breathtaking Epic views of surrounding Dolomite peaks. At the Falzarego Pass, a gondola rises to Mt. Lagazuoi. From the top you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the pass and the surrounding Dolomite peaks. Since 1965, this cable car has connected the Falzarego pass (2,117 m) with the Lagazuoi Refuge at an altitude of 2,746 metres. This lift facility kicked off the development of a popular tourist attraction area. Over the years, Mount Lagazuoi has become a popular skiing and hiking area of Cortina d’Ampezzo. The area has been made progressively attractive to tourist by the completion of the Open-air Museum of the First World War and, in 2018, of the exhibition pole Lagazuoi Expo Dolomiti.

French architect Jean Nouvel has revealed plans for a subterranean resort and hotel that would be hidden within the rock dwellings of AlUla, a natural region of north-west saudi arabia. located deep within the sharaan nature reserve, the project references the nearby hegra — a famous archaeological location that forms the country’s first UNESCO world heritage site. set to be completed by 2024, the development will include 40 guest suites and three villas. meanwhile, a retreat summit center nearby will feature 14 private pavilions.

For 40 years, Bernadette has been passionate about working with clay and says the local factory has become her second home. A little further south, the town of Chalais boasts opulent villas along the railway line: a unique architectural heritage. Jean-Louis shows us the impressive medieval castle, while Joël takes us to discover the world of traditional cattle farming, with calves fed under their mothers.
