Travel Videos: “Canarian Hymn” In Gran Canaria, Tenerife And La Gomera
Filmed and Edited by: David Jervidal & Tommy Jervidal
The Canary Islands has been a huge eye opener for me and my father.
We visited Tenerife and Gomera for the first time ten years ago and as photographers we immediately saw the possibilities in the variety of the landscapes. Coming back for more than eight times, the spirit of the nature on the Canary Islands still has a deep impact on us while searching for the Milkyway on Teide, wandering in deserts, rainforests and often getting lost hiking in the mountains.
Canarian Hymn is the result of our journeys and is a celebration of that intense warm light that shines on these islands.
It was filmed on Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera with a Mavic Pro 2 Drone and a Sony A7Riii.
Poem: Kahlil Gibran
The Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago off the coast of northwestern Africa, are rugged volcanic isles known for their black- and white-sand beaches. Tenerife, the largest island, is dominated by the sometimes-snowy active volcano Mt. Teide, which has its own astronomical observatory and is part of Teide National Park. Tenerife hosts a huge pre-Lent Carnival in the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Filmed and Edited by: Charlie Johnston
The Gorge de Daluis is a beautiful red rock gorge that runs for about 6km, in the South of France. I’ve been a couple of times before, but this time I managed to take along some basic camera gear and shoot as I went. It’s a stunning, rugged place and a challenging one to shoot for sure.
