Travel: Walking Tour Of Wiesbaden, West Germany


POPtravel Films (November 7, 2023) – A walking tour of Wiesbaden, a city in the western German state of Hesse. Its neoclassical Kurhaus now houses a convention center and a casino. The Kurpark is an English-style landscaped garden designed in 1852.

The red, neo-Gothic Market Church on Schlossplatz is flanked by the neoclassical City Palace, seat of State Parliament. Museum Wiesbaden displays expressionist paintings by Alexej von Jawlensky and natural history exhibits. 

National Geographic: One Week With Photographer Taylor Pendleton In Peru

graincheck Films (November 2023) – Photographer and director Taylor Pendleton traveled to Peru for one week to shoot photos for National Geographic. This video chronicles her experiences and impressions.

Germany Travel: History Of Drachenburg Castle

DW Travel (November 5, 2023) – Drachenburg Castle in Königswinter, near the German city of Bonn, is a real tourist magnet and Instagram hotspot. It may look like a medieval fairytale castle, but it wasn’t built until the late 19th century.

And its history is a mix of colorful, dark and bizarre – involving an eccentric bon vivant, Nazis and, of course, a dragon. DW reporter Diana Piñeros went to take a look at the castle for you.

Paris: Eiffel Tower Views – The 16th Arrondissement

ART VISION TV / C&B JOURNAL (NOVEMBER 4, 2023) – The swanky 16th arrondissement is home to foreign embassies and renowned museums, including the Fondation Louis Vuitton and the Palais de Tokyo with its contemporary art.

Hilly Passy, home to the city’s wealthiest residents, features trendy restaurants and the Maison de Balzac, a house museum where the novelist once lived. Families head to the Bois de Boulogne for its boating lakes and kids’ theme park. 

Travel: An Aerial Tour Of Lagos, Algarve, Portugal

Drone Snap Films (November 3, 2023) – Lagos is a town in southern Portugal’s Algarve region. It’s known for its walled old town, cliffs and Atlantic beaches. Steep wooden steps lead to the sandy cove of Praia do Camilo.

The nearby cliffs of Ponta de Piedade offer sweeping headland views and a lighthouse. Igreja de Santo António, an ornate 18th-century church, sits across from the Castelo dos Governadores, a castle with a baroque facade and watchtowers.

Philippines Travel: A Canoe Ride On Litik Maasin River

Wind Walk Travel Videos ʬ (November 2, 2023) – Relaxing banca (canoe) ride at Litik Maasin Enchanted River in Dapa Siargao Island, Philippines. This scenic ride cruises on a clear, turquoise-colored water surrounded by jungle of coconut trees and lush vegetations.

The ‘bent coconut tree’ used to be a popular attraction at Maasin River until it came to an end in 2023. Back then, visitors can do a tarzan-like swing on a rope attached on the trunk of the tree.

The trip to Maasin River is part of the land tour offered by local operators which includes trips to Sugba Lagoon, Magpupungko Rocks Pools and Mountain View.

FRANCE 24 English (October 30, 2023) – In the vineyards of France’s Anjou region, in the Loire Valley, a ritual takes place every year at the end of the summer. At harvest time, dozens of brave seasonal workers come from far and wide to pick the ripe grapes.

Some of them have been regulars for several years and their experience is invaluable to the newcomers. The grape picking is done by hand and in a good atmosphere, but has its own rules. Once collected, the harvest heads to the winery.

TRACKS – Travel Documentaries (October 28, 2023) – Explore Canada’s natural beauty in this beautiful documentary, from high above Baffin Island, in the northern Canadian territory of Nunavut, we get a glimpse at the incredible Arctic wonders.

From the towering ice fields lining the waters of Eclipse Sound in the Arctic Archipelago, to the natural wonders of Sirmilik National Park.

Covering 1.5 million square kilometres, or about one seventh of Canada, the Northern Arctic Ecozone extends over most of the nonmountainous areas of the arctic islands and parts of northeastern Keewatin, western Baffin Island, and northern Quebec. It is among the largest arctic ecosystems in the world.

Winters pass in near darkness with the polar night measured in weeks and months rather than hours. Snow may fall any month of the year and usually remains on the ground from September to June. Extremely low temperatures and an average precipitation of about 200 mm per year characterize the climate. When not covered in snow, much of the landscape is typified by barren plains covered in frost-patterned soils and the occasional rock outcrop.

Travel: A 630-Mile Driving Tour Of The Faroe Islands

Lucas T. Jahn Films (October 27, 2023) – An exploration of 10 of the 18 Faroese Islands, from Viðoy in the north to Suðuroy in the far south. In total, more than 1000 km were driven during the 16 days.

The Faroe Islands is a self-governing archipelago, part of the Kingdom of Denmark. It comprises 18 rocky, volcanic islands between Iceland and Norway in the North Atlantic Ocean, connected by road tunnels, ferries, causeways and bridges. Hikers and bird-watchers are drawn to the islands’ mountains, valleys and grassy heathland, and steep coastal cliffs that harbor thousands of seabirds.
