Forest Views: Pratt River Trail – Washington (Video)

The Pratt River is a river in King County in Washington. It is a tributary of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. It was named for prospector George A Pratt, who discovered nearby iron deposits in 1887. The river has its headwaters in tiny Upper Melakwa Lake. The river starts out as a small stream upon exiting the lake.

Views: ‘Great White Egrets’ Tallahassee, Florida (4K)

This is the closest Great Egret nest site in our backyard wildlife sanctuary – approximately 250’ away. There hasn’t been a nest here is a couple of years due to low water, but the afternoon before last I saw a male displaying on a branch, and the next morning he had already attracted a mate. He repeatedly brought branches from across the pond, and with sometimes questionable hand-offs she skillfully wove the sticks into their growing nest.

The great egret, also known as the common egret, large egret, or great white egret or great white heron is a large, widely distributed egret, with four subspecies found in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and southern Europe.

Future Of Sailing: The ‘Carbon Fibre Trimaran – Hanstaiger X1’ (Video)

The X1 is an exceptionally well designed trimaran, with all the hydrodynamic advantageous that brings. The sailboat version can reach speeds of 20 knots. The powerboat version can achieve speeds of 30 knots thanks to more powerful engines.

The interior of the X1 is not designed to feel you are in a boat; its designed to feel like you are in luxury home. Natural light fills all areas of boat, thanks to the glass roof structure and oversized lateral windows. There are no narrow corridors or maze like internal structures; the layout is designed to feel open and easy to move around in. The toilets are proper sized,  with all the space, functionality and finishings you would come to expect from a 5 star hotel.
