Travel Views: The Top Ten Waterfalls In Iceland
There are thousands of waterfalls in all forms and sizes scattered around Iceland. We’ve compiled 10 of the top waterfalls to visit in Iceland here. For your geographical convenience, they are listed in counterclockwise order around the country, starting from southwestern Iceland.
1. Gullfoss
Gullfoss, or “Golden Falls”, is one of the 3 must-see attractions of the famous Golden Circle route in southwestern Iceland. This two-tiered waterfall drops 32 metres (105 feet) into a narrow, deep canyon, creating an impressive spray of mist that often produces rainbows in sunny weather.
2. Seljalandsfoss
This towering cascade in South Iceland is impressive to look at from a distance, but its wow-factor lies in the footpath leading behind the tumbling water.
This means you can admire Seljalandsfoss from multiple angles and enjoy the exhilarating experience of walking behind it. It’s no wonder why so many feel that this is one of the best waterfalls in Iceland!

In this short film, follow Abrams and the dig team from the field to the lab, as they unravel mysteries from the end of the age of dinosaurs.

Village Walk: Montefalco In Umbria, Central Italy
Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, Montefalco overlooks the plains of the Topino and Clitunno rivers from the top of a hill. Design: ‘Cenote House 004’ By MORFA Architecture
Cenote House 0004 – NFT Conceptual architecture in Morfa Digital Buildings collection. | Exclusive white house with organic shapes, elevated over a private cenote, you can go down directly to enjoy it.
This project is a conceptual design of a house located in a private cenote. The cenotes were sacred sites for the Mayans. They were considered symbols of life and death as they provided fresh water and were believed to be the gateway to the underworld. The cenotes are also harmonic and peaceful places, that is why the design of the house reflects these concepts, a house with a rectangular base raised 3m from the ground level and supported at a single point on the main access stairs.
The straight forms are transformed into curves in some points of the house to generate spaces such as the pools with a view of the cenote, one interior and one exterior, the white color was proposed to contrast with the desert colors of the natural environment. The way to go down to the cenote is by an elevator and just below there is a platform with yacht, to go to your private beach inside the cenote.
