Views: Flying ‘AirCar’ Is Tested In Slovakia (Video)

A flying car has successfully completed its first intercity flight between two airports in Slovakia. The prototype, called AirCar, took off from Nitra and landed in Bratislava 35 minutes later. Using wings that fold away in less than three minutes and a propeller at its rear, the dual-transportation vehicle has now completed more than 40 hours of test flight.

Belief in conspiracy theories is far more widespread than the stereotypes that dominate pop culture. Recently, QAnon, Covid-19 and 5G theories have gained traction and criticism while less controversial conspiracies like the faked moon landing have persisted for decades. We all share hardwired evolutionary traits that make us vulnerable to them, from the way we assign truth to new information to our tendency to find patterns in unrelated phenomena. But if we’re all potentially susceptible to conspiracy theories, how can we manage these cognitive shortcuts?

Winter Views: ‘Icicles On Fountain In TRAFALGAR SQUARE’, London (Video)

The UK has experienced its lowest temperature for a decade with parts of Trafalgar Square’s fountain in London freezing over. With sub-zero temperatures persisting over much of the UK, a temperature of -16.7C was recorded in the small hamlet of Altnaharra in the Scottish Highlands. It is the coldest temperature recorded anywhere in the UK since December 2010. Yellow weather warnings are in place across the country.
