March 2023: The Seeker is my new drone 2023 reel. This short film is a kind of aerial footage reel that showcase the variety of different videos that I shot during the past several years.
Divided into two categories “nature and city” this 2-and-a-half-minute reel reveals just a glimpse of the diversity of some of my drone footage. Shot primarily in European locations this reel featured countries such as Russia, Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Italy, Norway, UAE and others.

Living Walks – Madeira Islands, Portuguese Arquipélago da Madeira, archipelago of volcanic origin in the North Atlantic Ocean, belonging to Portugal. It comprises two inhabited islands, Madeira and Porto Santo, and two uninhabited groups, the Desertas and the Selvagens. The islands are the summits of mountains that have their bases on an abyssal ocean floor. Administratively, they form the autonomous region of Madeira. The regional capital, Funchal, is located on Madeira Island.
Madeira Island, the largest of the group, is 34 miles (55 km) long, has a maximum width of 14 miles (22 km) and a coastline of about 90 miles (144 km), and rises in the centre to Ruivo Peak (6,106 feet [1,861 metres] above sea level). The greater part of the interior above 3,000 feet (900 metres) is uninhabited and uncultivated; communities of scattered huts are usually built either at the mouths of ravines or upon slopes that descend from the mountains to the coast.
Mesmerizing Time – Braga is a city in the far north of Portugal, northeast of Porto. It’s known for its religious heritage and events. To the east, Bom Jesus do Monte complex has a neoclassical church atop an elaborate 17-flight stairway. In the city center, medieval Braga Cathedral is home to a sacred art museum and the Gothic-style Kings’ Chapel. Nearby, the imposing Archbishop’s Palace overlooks Santa Barbara Garden.
Living Walks – Explore the charming streets and green spaces of Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, and see what Madeira is like in Winter. (We also have footage on the channel of Summer and at Christmas and New Year, so you get to see the Funchal weather at all times of year). No narration or music, just the natural sights and sounds on this walking tour of this historic town (rather like a live webcam experience).
If you visit Madeira, you should spend some time walking the streets of Funchal – it has charm, history and is a real highlight of Madeira. Madeira weather is perfect all year round and we’d recommend you visit for the Flower Festival, the wine festival and Christmas in Madeira and of course New Year in Funchal has to be on your top 10 list.

The centuries-old Funchal Cathedral, which mixes Gothic and Romanesque styles, is notable for its carved wooden ceiling. Fronting the harbor is the São Tiago Fortress, built in the 1600s. It now houses the Contemporary Art Museum, with a large collection of Portuguese works

MICHELE LORENZONI – I’m a freelance filmmaker and this is my first solo-produced video project. Last summer I passed six days in this island with some friends, we shot every damn day through all the cool spots Madeira has to show. After loooong editing days, here you the final result.
The bike tour is 12 miles (19km) long and takes you along the Lisbon waterfront past the Ponte 25 de Abril, Belem Tower, Padrão dos Descobrimentos and much more.

This biking tour of Lisbon, Portugal was filmed on Sunday July 17th, 2022 starting at 1:13 pm at the Commerce Square.
Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. From imposing São Jorge Castle, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel-colored buildings, Tagus Estuary and Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. Just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.
In order of appearance we featured: 1. Tapisco – £££ – for Spanish-Portuguese fusion small-plates 2. Bonjardim – £ – for proper authentic Portuguese piri chicken 3. Senhor Uva – ££ -lovely little casual natural wine bar 4. Clube de Journalistas – ££ – out of the centre, but so worth it 5. Neighbourhood – ££ – for great coffee and brunch but also for any time of day 6. Manteigaria – £ – pastel de natas babbbyyyy 7. Taberna in Bairro Do Avillez – ££ – huge building with 4 restaurants inside. 8. Taberna was the one we tried and it was great 9. Taberna Sal Grosso – £ – unreal 10. Prado – £££ – proper seasonal, farm to table joint 11. Monkey Mash – ££ – awesome speakeasy bar 12. Red Frog – ££ – 10/10 cocktails 13. The Folks – ££ – for speciality coffee and great pancakes 14. O Velho Eurico – £ – Portuguese dishes with a twist 15. Omakase Ri – £££ – tiny sushi bar with no menu, chef’s choice 16. Musa – ££ – local craft brewery. 17. Tricky’s – ££ – proper vibe and great food
