Scandinavian Travel: ‘Helsinki & Southern Finland’ (Video)

Many of us hope for brighter times these days, on many levels…
Filmed in Helsinki and the southern part of Finland.

Helsinki, Finland’s southern capital, sits on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland. Its central avenue, Mannerheimintie, is flanked by institutions including the National Museum, tracing Finnish history from the Stone Age to the present. Also on Mannerheimintie are the imposing Parliament House and Kiasma, a contemporary art museum. Ornate red-brick Uspenski Cathedral overlooks a harbor.

Aerial Travel Video: ‘Dallas – Texas’

Dallas, a modern metropolis in north Texas, is a commercial and cultural hub of the region. Downtown’s Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza commemorates the site of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963. In the Arts District, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Crow Collection of Asian Art cover thousands of years of art. The sleek Nasher Sculpture Center showcases contemporary sculpture.

Travel: ‘Moscow – Russia’

Moscow, on the Moskva River in western Russia, is the nation’s cosmopolitan capital. In its historic core is the Kremlin, a complex that’s home to the president and tsarist treasures in the Armoury. Outside its walls is Red Square, Russia’s symbolic center. It’s home to Lenin’s Mausoleum, the State Historical Museum’s comprehensive collection and St. Basil’s Cathedral, known for its colorful, onion-shaped domes.

Ocean Wildlife: Emperor Penguins ‘Deep Sea Diving’ For Food (BBC Video)

Penguins have the ability to forage for food in the sub-temperature waters of the Antarctic, where Krill and other sea life have also found a home. But Penguins aren’t the only inhabitants here…

The emperor penguin is the tallest and heaviest of all living penguin species and is endemic to Antarctica. The male and female are similar in plumage and size, reaching 100 cm in length and weighing from 22 to 45 kg.

Walking Tours: ‘Solvang – California’ (Video)

Christmas time at Solvang, a charming Danish-themed village in California’s Santa Ynez Valley. Solvang, which means “Sunny Field” in Danish, is a Danish Town located in Santa Ynez Valley. It is also known as the “Danish Capital of America” & “Little Denmark”. Solvang was founded by Danish-Americans in 1911 who moved from Midwest to California. It’s about 125 miles from Los Angeles and about 35 miles from Santa Barbara.

Castle Tour: ‘Monte Isola’ On Lake Iseo, Italy (Video)

On the biggest isle of Lake Iseo, Monte Isola, 13th-century medieval castle. The property enjoys an exceptional view over the lake and the Isle of San Paolo and offers a total of 6 bedrooms (two of which inside the tower), 4 bathrooms and a 5,500-sqm park. The building has been restored a last time in 1964 and is in need of restoration: by completing these works one could establish a boutique hotel or a location for events and weddings.

Lake Iseo or Iseo lake, also known as Sebino, is the fourth largest lake in Lombardy, Italy, fed by the Oglio river. It is in the north of the country in the Val Camonica area, near the cities of Brescia and Bergamo. The lake is almost equally divided between the Provinces of Bergamo and Brescia.

A walking tour in 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮, region 𝗟𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼, center Italy, a small town of about 14.000 inhabitants. The virtual walk starts just in the souhtern gate of this very cute town, in a saturday evening. Very few people around unfortunately, in full Coronavirus period.

Fara in Sabina, also spelled Fara Sabina, is a comune in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Lazio, located about 40 kilometres northeast of Rome and about 25 kilometres southwest of Rieti.

Sadly, this video is not a true picture of European nature in general. Most of these beautiful wildlife moments are actually very rare to witness here in Central Europe. We keep degrading the landscape with such intensity that mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insect, spiders and fish are slipping through our fingers faster than before. A key to improvement and effective conservation is education.
