The Canal District (Dutch: Grachtengordel) is the famous 17th-century district surrounding the Binnenstad of Amsterdam. The whole district is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique cultural and historical value, and its property values are among the highest of the country.

One of the most enjoyable things to do in Amsterdam is wander along the beautiful canals, which are lined with picturesque, historic buildings and have an endless variety of boats of all shapes, size, variety and function going by.

Rotterdam-based architecture studio MoederscheimMoonen Architects has revealed design for a residential tower in the city centre of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Called Riva, the new tower will be a residential building built on top of the existing office block, retaining the iconic reconstruction architecture of this building. The office completed the final design of the building.
