April 25, 2023: Nerja is a resort town along southern Spain’s Costa del Sol. Its seafront promenade, Balcón de Europa, tops a promontory with views of the Mediterranean and surrounding mountains.
Below it lie sandy beaches and cliffside coves. Cueva de Nerja, a nearby cavern with unusual stalactites and stalagmites, hosts popular summertime concerts. It’s also known for its paleolithic paintings, viewable by guided tour.
April 24, 2023: Angel Island State Park, the largest natural island in the San Francisco Bay, offers some of the best views of the surrounding Bay Area. With great hiking trails and many other recreational opportunities readily available, Angel Island is truly a hidden gem in the midst of the urban Bay Area.
Beginning with the earliest inhabitants, the Coast Miwok, Angel Island was a seasonal hunting and gathering location for the local native tribes, a safe refuge and supply stop for Spanish explorers like Juan Manuel de Ayala, one of the first to map the San Francisco Bay.
From 1910 to 1940, the U.S. Immigration Station processed hundreds of thousands of immigrants, the majority from China. During World War II, Japanese, and German POWs were detained at the Station before being sent to facilities farther inland.
London Walking Tours (Uploaded April 22, 2023) – Tower of London, byname the Tower, royal fortress and London landmark. Its buildings and grounds served historically as a royal palace, a political prison, a place of execution, an arsenal, a royal mint, a menagerie, and a public records office.
It is located on the north bank of the River Thames, in the extreme western portion of the borough of Tower Hamlets, on the border with the central City of London.

Tourister (April 20, 2023) – The historic city of Verona was founded in the 1st century B.C. It particularly flourished under the rule of the Scaliger family in the 13th and 14th centuries and as part of the Republic of Venice from the 15th to 18th centuries. Verona has preserved a remarkable number of monuments from antiquity, the medieval and Renaissance periods, and represents an outstanding example of a military stronghold.
Walk It (Uploaded April 18, 2023): Montreux is a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva. Nestled between steep hills and the lakeside, it’s known for its mild microclimate and the Montreux Jazz Festival, held in July.

The town’s promenade is lined with flowers, sculptures, Mediterranean trees and grand Belle Époque buildings. Offshore is a medieval island castle, Château de Chillon, with ramparts, formal halls and a chapel with 14th-century murals.
The Traveler (Uploaded April 17, 2023) – Bellagio is a village on a promontory jutting out into Lake Como, in Italy. It’s known for its cobbled lanes, elegant buildings and Villa Serbelloni Park, an 18th-century terraced garden with lake views.
Nearby are the Tower of the Arts, a venue for exhibitions and performances, and the Romanesque San Giacomo Church. Close to rocky Loppia Beach, the Museum of Navigational Instruments displays sundials and compasses.
Walk n Explore (Uploaded April 16, 2023) – Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is a beautiful village in the Alpilles region of Provence, Southern France. It has a rich historical and cultural heritage, with ancient Roman monuments, museums, art galleries and festivals.
Saint-Rémy-de-Provence has a strong connection with Vincent Van Gogh, the famous Dutch painter who spent a year in the town from May 1889 to May 1890. He voluntarily admitted himself to the Saint-Paul de Mausole psychiatric hospital, where he was treated by Dr Théophile Peyron.
During his stay, he painted some of his most well-known works, such as The Starry Night, Irises, Self-Portrait and Almond Blossoms. He was inspired by the landscapes, colours and light of Provence, and often depicted the olive groves, cypresses, wheat fields and mountains of the Alpilles region. He also painted scenes from the hospital and its gardens, such as The Garden of Saint-Paul Hospital and The Courtyard of the Hospital at Arles.
