Wildlife Film Trailers: ‘A Prairie Dog’s Life’ (2023)

In addition, quarrels and conflicts within the colony make life quite difficult… But thanks to a special ‘dog language’, they can prevent attacks from coyotes and badgers.

Oceans: “Into The Abyss – Worlds Of The Deep” (2023)

Natural World Facts Films (June 17, 2023) – Explore the wonders of the deep ocean as you’ve never seen them before. This is a collaborative film series with Schmidt Ocean Institute, using their extensive library of 4K footage from an array of deep sea ecosystems.

Schmidt Ocean Institute is a non-profit oceanographic research foundation that has been pioneering deep-sea research and discovery since 2009, on board their old vessel RV Falkor and their brand new RV Falkor (too), the most advanced marine research vessels in the world.

Their remotely operated vehicle (ROV) SuBastian is equipped with a suite of sensors and a 4K camera that has illuminated the depths and live-streamed dives around the world. All footage shown is filmed and provided by Schmidt Ocean Institute.

Wildlife Views: Filming Wolf Pups In Voyageurs National Park, Minnesota

In a race against time, the crew works to microchip a pack of wolf pups and return the pups to their den as quickly as possible—all while setting up their cameras in time to capture some truly heart-melting shots. Witness the wildlife of North America as you’ve never seen it before on #AmericaTheBeautifulSeries, narrated by Michael B. Jordan.

Filmed in Voyageurs National Park, Minnesota. Voyageurs National Park is in northern Minnesota, near the Canadian border. It covers a vast area and is known for its forests, waterways and huge, island-dotted Rainy, Kabetogama and Namakan lakes. The Ellsworth Rock Gardens, created by artist Jack Ellsworth, are a series of abstract sculptures on a terraced outcrop. The remote Kettle Falls area has a dam and a red-roofed hotel, both from the early 20th century.

Singer-songwriter Camila Cabello and Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer have joined forces to write a new song for “Frozen Planet II.” The new track will be featured in the debut extended trailer for the highly-anticipated David Attenborough-narrated series.

A sequel to the 2011 series, “Frozen Planet II” is a six-episode journey through Earth’s icy regions including the North and South poles, produced by BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit. The collaboration on “Take Me Back Home” marks the first time a new song has been written to support a BBC One natural history show.

Nature: ‘Riverwoods – An Untold Story’ (Video)

Throughout Scotland, the fractured connections between salmon and the landscapes through which their rivers flow, are gradually being repaired through the foresight and positive actions of many different people. This spring, the Riverwoods documentary will embark on a 12-venue screening tour across Scotland, bringing this untold story to life.
