Timelapse: ‘Mountains Of Northern Norway’ (4K)

Filmed and Edited by: Night Light Films

What makes northern Norway so unique, mystical and fairy-tale like? It is undeniably its mountains. ‘Fjellan’ means ‘the mountain’ or ‘the mountains’ in local dialect. I wanted to pay a tribute to some of the most iconic peaks of this part of the country.

You can find all types of mountains in northern Norway. While some are more like rolling hills, others are jaw-dropping, sharply triangular peaks that rise directly from the bottom of fjords. But what they all have in common is their ability to feed our imagination. People usually see many shapes and figures in them, including animals, soldiers, sleeping giants or even trolls!

This short film consists of a mixture of timelapse and real-time sequences taken over the past 3 years in the Troms area.

Timelapse Travel: ‘Norway – Landscapes & Seasons’

Filmed and Edited by: T. Haaland Photography

A collage of time-lapses taken over the last years. All taken at different locations around Norway. All the way from Tromsø to Oslo to Bergen and between.

Norway is a Scandinavian country encompassing mountains, glaciers and deep coastal fjords. Oslo, the capital, is a city of green spaces and museums. Preserved 9th-century Viking ships are displayed at Oslo’s Viking Ship Museum. Bergen, with colorful wooden houses, is the starting point for cruises to the dramatic Sognefjord. Norway is also known for fishing, hiking and skiing, notably at Lillehammer’s Olympic resort.

Travel: ‘St. John Island – Virgin Islands’ (8K Video)

VIRGIN ISLANDS 8K is a visually stunning journey through one of the most beautiful national parks in the world, Virgin Islands. Journey with More Than Just Parks as we explore this tropical paradise located on the outskirts of the Caribbean Sea. Swim with sea turtles, explore ancient jungle ruins, relax on white sand beaches, and soak in the island beauty. This is Virgin Islands National Park.

To make this film we spent weeks on the island of St John (part of the US Virgin Islands) hiking every trail in Virgin Islands National Park and swimming every bay (for good measure). We visited the park after the 2017 hurricane maria damage and were frankly quite surprised by what we saw. When you look at a lot of the photos and video online it does not represent what exists in the park today.

All of our footage represents the park in it’s current, post-hurricane, status.Filming locations included: Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, Lameshur Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Reef Bay (trail, ruins, & sugar mill), Annaberg Plantation Ruins, Ram Head, Caneel Hill Trail, Margaret Hill, Catherineberg Ruins, Honeymoon Beach, Salomon Beach, Francis Bay, Waterlemon Cay, Little Lameshur Bay, and so much more.

Belgrade is the capital of the southeast European country of Serbia. Its most significant landmark is the Beogradska Tvrđava, an imposing fortress at the confluence of the Danube and the Sava rivers. The fort is a testament to the city’s strategic importance to the Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, Serbian and Austrian empires, and it’s now the site of several museums as well as Kalemegdan, a vast park.

Timelapse Travel: ‘Sofia – Bulgaria’ (4K Video)

Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria, an amazing county in Eastern Europe and probably one of the most underrated travel destinations in Europe. Sofia is surrounded by mountainsides, such as Vitosha by the southern side, Lyulin by the western side, and the Balkan Mountains by the north, which makes it the third highest European capital after Andorra la Vella and Madrid. It’s an amazing and vibrant city to visit and you can get a very good idea about this place in less than 3 minutes in this time lapse, tilt-shift and drone video. Like everything else, Sofia looks even better in miniature size.

Nature: Local Woods In ‘Navarra – Spain’ Using Infrared Timelapse (Video)

Filmed and Edited by: Txema Ortiz

An audiovisual poem, a fantastic story towards a dream place. We try to create an Atmosphere of Orange-Red-Yellow tones, thus giving a different image and turning the places into magic. Nature is shown in another way, one more reason to be conserved and pampered, since it is inhabited by a multitude of species, including “the slug”,

Navarra (Navarre) is a geographically diverse region in northern Spain. A medieval Basque kingdom, it was annexed by Castile in the 16th century. Dotted with remote villages, its capital and largest city is Pamplona, famous for its annual running of the bulls. Pamplona has 16th-century fortifications, the Gothic Santa María la Real Cathedral and the Museo de Navarra, with archaeological and art collections.

We spent the darkest week of the year – the Christmas week – up North in Lapland admiring the snowy sceneries and making the most out of the little daylight we got each day. As it was the polar night, the sun didn’t rise at all.

Wilderness Timelapse: ‘Spirit In The Forests’ Of Abruzzo, Italy (Video)

Filmed and Edited by: Giovanni Lattanzi

Spiritus Silvam, the spirit of the forest. A timelapse video for an enchanted journey in the Abruzzo forests, in search of the magical spirit. That vital essence that inhabits all the woods of the world and that welcomes and accompanies you when you are among the trees, in their home. But you must have a free and aware mind, as well as a pure soul, to be able to meet him. And you have to remain silent in thought and open in your heart to talk to us and let you tell his magical stories.

Abruzzo is an Italian region, east of Rome, with an Adriatic coastline and the Apennine Mountains. National parks and nature reserves cover much of its rugged interior. It also encompasses hilltop towns, dating to the medieval and Renaissance periods. Regional capital L’Aquila is a walled city, damaged in a 2009 earthquake. The Trabocchi Coast, with sandy coves, is named after its traditional wooden fishing piers.

Timelapse Travel: ‘Prati Di Tivo’, Apennine Mountains Of Central Italy (Video)

Filmed and Edited by: Giovanni Lattanzi

Prati di Tivo is a splendid mountain place, on the eastern side of the Gran Sasso chain, right at the foot of the giant. It offers woods, ski slopes, but above all two extraordinary views, one towards the Laga and one over the Vomano valley and the Adriatic coast, with a view that sweeps as far as the eye can see towards the sea. But above all it is a suggestive natural balcony on the Gran Sasso d’Italia, both during the day and at night, when the Milky Way runs fast on the peaks.
