Architecture: Undulating Floor Plate Apartments In Rotterdam, Netherlands
Rotterdam-based architecture studio MoederscheimMoonen Architects has revealed design for a residential tower in the city centre of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Called Riva, the new tower will be a residential building built on top of the existing office block, retaining the iconic reconstruction architecture of this building. The office completed the final design of the building.

The Coolsingel is an important main street in the city centre of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Cars used to have four travel lanes. After the reconstruction only two lanes remained. Every year, millions of tons of plastic enter the oceans primarily from rivers. The plastic afloat across the oceans – legacy plastic – isn’t going away by itself. Therefore, solving ocean plastic pollution requires a combination of stemming the inflow and cleaning up what has already accumulated.

Timelapse Travel Videos: ‘Rotterdam To Amsterdam In 10 Minutes’ – 4K Sailing
In 2013 a special transport over water left from Rotterdam to Amsterdam. A timelapse camera was installed at 30 mtrs high. The resulting film gives a unique and stunning view of the old Dutch waterways, in 4K. Images were shot with a Canon 550d at an interval of 3 seconds, totalling around 30.000 pictures taken. In 2013 the film couldn’t be published right away due to restrictions. After a few years it was forgotten. Till now.
