Road Trips In Scotland: ‘Inverness To Rogie Falls, Outer Hebrides’ (Video)

Today, we give ourselves a lift from the Lockdown Blues with a trip I did in November from my home in North Uist to Inverness, and back again via the Rogie Falls. The Rogie Falls are about 20 miles to the West of Inverness, and at certain times of the year you can see salmon leaping. No leaping salmon today though, just some enjoyable flying of my DJI Mavic Pro Drone (1st Generation.)

The contents of the video are: 00:00 – Introduction 01:02 – CalMac Ferry mv Hebrides Lochmaddy to Uig, then on to Inverness 03:15 – Inverness to the Rogie Falls 05:46 – The Rogie Falls 08:42 – Garve to Lochmaddy via Strathcarron and CalMac ferry from Uig 13:24 – Wrap up – He never smiles!

Blanes is a town in the comarca of Selva in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. During the Roman rule it was named Blanda or Blandae. It is known as the “Gateway to the Costa Brava”. Its coast is part of the Costa Brava, which stretches from Blanes up to the French border.

The township is 18.29 km². Blanes is a popular tourist town, and it is known for the Concurs de Focs d’Artifici during the Santa Anna festival; this event includes many fireworks. Europe: ‘An Economic History Of Poland’ (Video)

The Polish economy was the fastest growing European economy over the last two decades, being the only one to avoid a recession following 2008. Outperforming other post communist nations, to become the first to reach developed status. However it’s fair to say that Poland often receives less attention than it deserves. Despite regularly being touted as Europe’s growth engine. This raises all sorts of questions, like how has Poland’s Economy done so well? Why do under 26 year olds pay less income tax and whether, as some have suggested, it can catch up with Germany’s average income by 2040. Is Poland a Tiger Economy?

Poland, officially the Republic of Poland, is a country located in Central Europe. It is divided into 16 administrative provinces, covering an area of 312,696 square kilometres, and has a largely temperate seasonal climate.

Aerial Travel: ‘Calgary – Canada’ (4K Video)

Calgary, a cosmopolitan Alberta city with numerous skyscrapers, owes its rapid growth to its status as the centre of Canada’s oil industry. However, it’s still steeped in the western culture that earned it the nickname “Cowtown,” evident in the Calgary Stampede, its massive July rodeo and festival that grew out of the farming exhibitions once presented here.

Travel: ‘Volcanic Stone Village Of Aubignas’ In Southern France (Video)

The village of Aubignas is located in southern Ardèche, near the town of Teil. Little known by tourist circuits, it is worth a detour for its volcanic stone houses which give it a unique appearance. In addition, many of its alleys are pedestrianized. The dark basalt stones stand out thanks to the light sand joints coming from a quarry not far from Aubignas.

Aubignas is a commune in the Ardèche department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as Aubignassiens or Aubignassiennes.
