1. Attorneys for the family of Andrew Brown Jr., a Black man shot by sheriff’s deputies in North Carolina during an attempted arrest last week, said body camera footage showed Brown had been “executed”.
2. The Justice Department launched a civil probe of the Louisville, Kentucky, police department whose officers last year fatally shot Breonna Taylor in a botched raid.
3. A Republican-led effort to recall California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom has garnered enough valid signatures to make the ballot.
4. Vital medical supplies poured into India as hospitals starved of life-saving oxygen and beds turned away coronavirus patients, while a surge in infections pushed the death toll towards 200,000.
5. Ethnic minority Karen insurgents attacked a Myanmar army outpost near the Thai border in some of the most intense clashes since a military coup threw the country into crisis.

Travel Tours: ‘Kentucky Bourbon Trail’ (Video)
Kentucky Bourbon is known worldwide and is a staple of the American spirits industry. Nowhere else are there so many famous bourbon brands all within a short drive from each other as there are in Kentucky. Amie and I spent the better part of a week trying many of the different distilleries and made this video to showcase how amazing this area is, especially if you like bourbon. This video was shot in January of 2020.

- In order for whiskey to be Bourbon, it must be made with a minimum of 51 percent corn, aged in new, charred oak containers, stored at no more than 125 proof and bottled at no less than 80 proof.
- There are now 9.1 million barrels of Bourbon aging in Kentucky, which is 2 barrels for every person living in the state.

The President is refusing to say he’ll accept the results of the election, casting doubts about the legitimacy of the ballots. Also, protesters marched for a second night in Louisville, Kentucky calling for justice in the Breonna Taylor case. Kentucky’s governor and Louisville’s mayor have called on the attorney general to release the grand jury’s evidence.
And, the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans says the pandemic is causing more people to reach out for help, reversing decades of progress with homelessness among vets.
