New Aerial Travel Video: The ‘Northern Islands – Lofoten, Faroe & Iceland’

Hei sammen, Halló saman, Hej allesammen and welcome to this breathtaking aerial view of the most beautiful northern Islands in 4K UHD resolution. And yes, I’m talking about the Lofoten (Norway) 🇳🇴, Iceland 🇮🇸, and the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴! The true beauty of these landscapes are just unbelievable!

The Lofoten Islands are draped across the turbulent waters of the Norwegian Sea, far above the Arctic Circle. This rare wilderness outpost offers an untrammeled landscape of majestic mountains, deep fjords, squawking seabird colonies and long, surf-swept beaches.

The Faroe Islands is a self-governing archipelago, part of the Kingdom of Denmark. It comprises 18 rocky, volcanic islands between Iceland and Norway in the North Atlantic Ocean, connected by road tunnels, ferries, causeways and bridges. Hikers and bird-watchers are drawn to the islands’ mountains, valleys and grassy heathland, and steep coastal cliffs that harbor thousands of seabirds.

Iceland, a Nordic island nation, is defined by its dramatic landscape with volcanoes, geysers, hot springs and lava fields. Massive glaciers are protected in Vatnajökull and Snæfellsjökull national parks. Most of the population lives in the capital, Reykjavik, which runs on geothermal power and is home to the National and Saga museums, tracing Iceland’s Viking history.

New Aerial Travel Videos: “Sarakiniko Beach” On Milos Island, Greece

Sarakiniko is a beach on Milos Island, Greece, situated on the north shore of the island. Waves driven by north winds shape the greyish-white volcanic rock into amazing shapes, and the area is often compared to a moonscape. The local people often refer to the scenic landscape of Sarakiniko as Lunar. The bone-white beach derives its unusual characteristics from the erosion of the volcanic rock by wind and wave. Sarakiniko is one of the most photographed landscapes in the Aegean.

Travel Videos: “Canarian Hymn” In Gran Canaria, Tenerife And La Gomera

Filmed and Edited by: David Jervidal & Tommy Jervidal

The Canary Islands has been a huge eye opener for me and my father.

We visited Tenerife and Gomera for the first time ten years ago and as photographers we immediately saw the possibilities in the variety of the landscapes. Coming back for more than eight times, the spirit of the nature on the Canary Islands still has a deep impact on us while searching for the Milkyway on Teide, wandering in deserts, rainforests and often getting lost hiking in the mountains.

Canarian Hymn is the result of our journeys and is a celebration of that intense warm light that shines on these islands.

It was filmed on Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera with a Mavic Pro 2 Drone and a Sony A7Riii.

Poem: Kahlil Gibran

Tenerife, the largest island, is dominated by the sometimes-snowy active volcano Mt. Teide, which has its own astronomical observatory and is part of Teide National Park. Tenerife hosts a huge pre-Lent Carnival in the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
