We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Lisbon, Portugal on July 2020. Located on the westernmost front of Continental Europe, Lisbon is the capital and the largest city of Portugal. It is also one of the oldest cities in the world, and the second-oldest European capital city (after Athens). In 1755 a massive earthquake, and subsequent tidal wave and fire, killed 40,000 and completely destroyed much of the Lisbon lower central districts. Our guided walking tour is about 4.66 miles (7.5 km) long, starts at Commerce Square (Praça do Comércio) and covers most attractions and historic sites of Lisbon.

Constantine’s death would drive a crack through the Roman Empire, splitting it into West and East. Over the next several hundred years, parts of it would even fall to foreign invaders. But a new capital would rise to take its place: Constantinople.

Grindelwald info: The Eiger village of Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland lies embedded in a welcoming and green hollow, surrounded by a commanding mountainscape with the Eiger north face and the Wetterhorn. This mountainscape and the numerous lookout points and activities make Grindelwald one of the most popular and cosmopolitan holiday and excursion destinations in Switzerland, and the largest ski resort in the Jungfrau region.
There are 300 km of walking trails around Grindelwald. The high-altitude walk from Grindelwald-First along the Bachalpsee to the Faulhorn mountain hotel and then on to the Schynige Platte ranks among the most beautiful hikes of the region.
An easy walk with fantastic views of the three, world-famous mountains of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau leads from the Männlichen up onto the Kleine Scheidegg.
A time-lapse film about the city of Rotterdam starring the city’s most famous icon; the Euromast.
Rotterdam is a major port city in the Dutch province of South Holland. The Maritime Museum’s vintage ships and exhibits trace the city’s seafaring history. The 17th-century Delfshaven neighborhood is home to canalside shopping and Pilgrim Fathers Church, where pilgrims worshiped before sailing to America. After being almost completely reconstructed following WWII, the city is now known for bold, modern architecture.
Today we will take a walk in the London West End at sunset. I started walking around 6pm and the sunset on that day was 6:15. It gets darker and darker from the middle of the video. The walk starts from Leicester Square and then continues through Chinatown & Soho to end at Piccadilly Circus.
From Scandinavia’s striking snow-coated scenery to the charming coastlines of the Mediterranean, Europe is full of diverse and dreamy landscapes that belie its relatively small size. While its world-class capitals of London, Paris, and Rome attract the most visitors, the continent’s 44 countries each have delightfully different cities and attractions to explore. With so many sublime sights and sensational scenery to see, visiting all of Europe’s most beautiful destinations could take a lifetime.
