Two wheels, one goal: exploring Hamburg from a cycling perspective. Rather than exploring Hamburg through a city walk, Amélie’s mission on a sunny day in Hamburg is to bike through the urban jungle as well as through the green parts of the city. Amélie starts at the Fischmarkt in the Rad Race Shop and crosses the Elbtunnel, which connects the centre of Hamburg with the docks and shipyards on the south side of the Elbe.

Out of the lift of the Elbtunnel, the route continues via the Landungsbrücken to the Elbphilharmonie. From there, via the Speicherstadt to Hamburg City Hall. After the Jungfernstieg, the tour continues along the green side of Hamburg through the Old Botanical Garden and Planten un Blomen.
Via the Reeperbahn, we return to the Rad Race Shop for Amélie to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Giovinazzo is a town and former bishopric within the Metropolitan City of Bari, Apulia region, southeastern Italy. Moab is also home to the second tallest mountain range in Utah – the La Sal Mountains with peaks reaching over 13,000 feet in elevation. Often these peaks are snow-capped even in the spring and early Summer – making for a beautiful contrast between desert landscape and mountains. In summer take a short 1 hour drive from the desert climate of Moab with temperatures near 100 degrees to sitting under an Aspen grove on the La Sal mountains with temperatures in the mid 70’s.
Love stargazing? You’ll love the dark skies around Moab. Head into Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, or Dead Horse Point State Park and enjoy some of the darkest skies in the country. The International Dark Sky Association has designated these locations as dark-sky parks, and you’ll soon discover why. But don’t stop there – anytime you leave town, you’ll discover that the lack of any significant light pollution and the dry high-desert climate ensures a wonderful view of the night sky on most nights. You’ll also be happy to know that Moab is also one of the safest places to hang outdoors – as there really isn’t much in the way of predatory wildlife.
Trang, also called Mueang Thap Thiang, is one of the southern provinces (changwat) of Thailand, on the west side of the Malay Peninsula facing the Strait of Malacca. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, and Satun.
Trang was formerly a port involved in foreign trade. It was the first place where rubber was planted in Thailand. Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi brought rubber saplings from Malaya and planted them here in 1899, and rubber is now an important export of the country. The Trang River flows through the province from its origin in the Khao Luang mountain range, and the Palian River flows from the Banthat mountains. The province of Trang has an area of approximately 5,000 square km and 199 km of Strait of Malacca shoreline.
Wat Chalong is a historical landmark and Buddhist temple in Phuket’s Chalong Bay. For centuries, locals come to pray almost every day while westerners learn about Buddhism during their vacation. It’s officially called Wat Chaitararam, but most people refer to it by Wat Chalong. The temple is located on Chao Fa West Road in the northern part of Tambol Chalong.
Many locals claim that the temple often experiences many miracles. It’s also known for its pivotal and healing role in the fighting between Chinese secret societies (Angyee) in 1876.
The Vogalonga is a non-competitive celebration for all rowers. This peaceful protest against wave damage caused by motor boats, and lagoon degeneration, brings together Venetians and enthusiasts from around the world.
The naval review Vogalonga is held, yearly, in Venice on the Pentecost Day. The Vogalonga which started in 1975 by the local rowing clubs as a protest against the wash and the waves created by the ever increasing number of motor boats in the city and the lagoon. More than 400 boats in various kinds and sizes from 50 Venice’s clubs and private boats from all over the world participate in this wonderful event.
