Some nations also have considerable areas designated as private parks, game reserves, forest reserves, marine reserves, national reserves and natural parks. Aerial Views: Yokohama – Southern Japan (4K)
Yokohama, a Japanese city south of Tokyo, was one of the first Japanese ports opened to foreign trade, in 1859. It contains a large Chinatown with hundreds of Chinese restaurants and shops. It’s also known for Sankei-en Garden, a botanical park containing preserved Japanese residences from different eras, and the seaside Minato Mirai district, site of the 296m Landmark Tower.
Views: World’s Tallest Observation Wheel (Dubai)
Located just off the coast of Dubai Marina on the man-made, Bluewater’s Island, Ain Dubai – or the Eye of Dubai – is now officially the world’s tallest and largest observation wheel – standing over 250 metres tall and with a capacity of 1,750 passengers at any one time.
82 metres taller than its predecessor, Ain Dubai represents the single greatest increase in height for this type of structure – something that could have only been achieved in a place like Dubai.
Walks: Galt In Cambridge City, Ontario, Canada (4K)
The City of Cambridge was founded in 1973 by the amalgamation of the 3 cities Galt, Preston and Hespeler. The first city which would eventually become part of Cambridge is Galt. It began forming along the Grand River in the early 1800’s. Because the river provided a rich power supply it attracted industries such as grist mills, saw mills, foundries textile factories, distilleries and tanneries. The wealth of jobs and requirement for tradesman attracted many European immigrants.
The railway reached Galt in 1879. This attracted many more businesses. The Galt Grammar School opened in 1852. As a boys only boarding school it quickly gained notoriety as one of the top schools in Ontario. In 1884 it became a day school for both boys and girls. After World War 1 this iconic building was renamed Galt Collegiate institute. A large post office was erected in downtown Galt in 1886. This magnificent piece of architecture was designated a National historic site of Canada in 1993. It is currently being renovated and converted into a public library.
Travel Views: Vilnius – Capital Of Lithuania (4K)
Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital, is known for its baroque architecture, seen especially in its medieval Old Town. But the buildings lining this district’s partially cobblestoned streets reflect diverse styles and eras, from the neoclassical Vilnius Cathedral to Gothic St. Anne’s Church. The 16th-century Gate of Dawn, containing a shrine with a sacred Virgin Mary icon, once guarded an entrance to the original city.
Island Views: Zanzibar (4K)
Zanzibar is a Tanzanian archipelago off the coast of East Africa. On its main island, Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar, is Stone Town, a historic trade center with Swahili and Islamic influences. Its winding lanes present minarets, carved doorways and 19th-century landmarks such as the House of Wonders, a former sultan’s palace. The northern villages Nungwi and Kendwa have wide beaches lined with hotels.

The Painted Desert is a United States desert of badlands in the Four Corners area, running from near the east end of Grand Canyon National Park and southeast into Petrified Forest National Park. It is most easily accessed from the north portion of Petrified Forest National Park.
Views: Khao Sok National Park – South Thailand (4K)
Khao Sok National Park is a nature reserve in southern Thailand containing dense virgin jungle, towerlike limestone karst formations and the man-made Cheow Lan Lake. It’s home to rare species such as the giant parasitic Rafflesia flower, hornbill birds, gibbons and tigers. The park can be explored by elephant-back safari, hiking trail, and raft, canoe or kayak via the Sok river.
Early Fall Views: Québec City, Southeast Canada
Québec City sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada’s mostly French-speaking Québec province. Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle of Québec. The Petit Champlain district’s cobblestone streets are lined with bistros and boutiques.
