Offensee is a lake located at the western end of the Totes Gebirge mountain range in Upper Austria’s part of the Salzkammergut.
Salzkammergut is an Austrian region of lakes and Alpine ranges near Salzburg. In the south, the pastel houses of Hallstatt crowd the shore of Lake Hallstatt, which is ringed by mountains.
