Spring Walks: ‘Quayside Marina’ – Vancouver (4K)

The Quayside (pronounced “Keyside”) Marina is on the north shore of False Creek, in the middle of Vancouver’s cosmopolitan Yaletown district.   

Vancouver  is a major city in western Canada, located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia. As the most populous city in the province, the 2016 census recorded 631,486 people in the city, up from 603,502 in 2011. The Greater Vancouver area had a population of 2,463,431 in 2016, making it the third-largest metropolitan area in Canada

Walks: ‘Montmartre – Paris’, France (Video)

Montmartre is a large hill in Paris’s 18th arrondissement. It is 130 m (430 ft) high and gives its name to the surrounding district, part of the Right Bank in the northern section of the city. The historic district established by the City of Paris in 1995 is bordered by rue Caulaincourt and rue Custine on the north, rue de Clignancourt on the east, and boulevard de Clichy and boulevard de Rochechouart to the south,[4] containing 60 ha (150 acres).[5] Montmartre is primarily known for its artistic history, the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur on its summit, and as a nightclub district. The other church on the hill, Saint Pierre de Montmartre, built in 1147, was the church of the prestigious Montmartre Abbey. On August 15, 1534, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, Saint Francis Xavier and five other companions bound themselves by vows in the Martyrium of Saint Denis, 11 rue Yvonne Le Tac, the first step in the creation of the Jesuits.[6]

Tilt-Shift Travel: ‘Los Angeles – California’ (4K)

Los Angeles is the largest city in California and the second-largest city in the USA. Like everything else, L.A. looks much better in miniature. This is one of the last projects that I shot pre-pandemic, in case you wonder why nobody is wearing masks.

Los Angeles is a sprawling Southern California city and the center of the nation’s film and television industry. Near its iconic Hollywood sign, studios such as Paramount Pictures, Universal and Warner Brothers offer behind-the-scenes tours. On Hollywood Boulevard, TCL Chinese Theatre displays celebrities’ hand- and footprints, the Walk of Fame honors thousands of luminaries and vendors sell maps to stars’ homes.

Walking Tour: Honolulu – Oahu, Hawaii ( 4K video)

Honolulu, on the island of Oahu’s south shore, is capital of Hawaii and gateway to the U.S. island chain. The Waikiki neighborhood is its center for dining, nightlife and shopping, famed for its iconic crescent beach backed by palms and high-rise hotels, with volcanic Diamond Head crater looming in the distance. Sites relating to the World War II attack on Pearl Harbor include the USS Arizona Memorial.

Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. It is the second-largest country in Europe, after Russia, which it borders to the east and north-east.[a] Ukraine also shares borders with Belarus to the north;  PolandSlovakia, and Hungary to the west;  Romania  and Moldova to the south; and has a coastline along the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. It covers an area of 603,628 km2 (233,062 sq mi),[b] with a population of about 41.5 million,[c] and is the eighth-most populous country in Europe. The country’s capital and largest city is Kyiv.

Walks: ‘Rue Des Petits-Champs’ In Paris, France

Rue des Petits-Champs is a street which runs through the 1st and 2nd arrondissement of ParisFrance. It was officially created in 1634 by orders of the king during the construction of Palais-Cardinal, it was named “rue Bautru” then “rue Neuve-des-Petits-Champs”, In 1881 it was given its present name. In 1944, the part of rue des Petits Champs which extends across Opera near the Place Vendome was renamed rue Danielle Casanova after a French Resistance fighter who died in 1943.

Nighttime Views: ‘Doha – Capital Of Qatar’ (4K Video)

Qatar is a peninsular Arab country whose terrain comprises arid desert and a long Persian (Arab) Gulf shoreline of beaches and dunes. Also on the coast is the capital, Doha, known for its futuristic skyscrapers and other ultramodern architecture inspired by ancient Islamic design, such as the limestone Museum of Islamic Art. The museum sits on the city’s Corniche waterfront promenade.

Walking Tour: ‘Lille – Northern France (4K)

Lille is the capital of the Hauts-de-France region in northern France, near the border with Belgium. A cultural hub and bustling university city today, it was once an important merchant center of French Flanders, and many Flemish influences remain. The historic center, Vieux Lille, is characterized by 17th-century brick town houses, cobbled pedestrian streets and the large central square, Grand Place. 

Post-Lockdown Walks: Venice- Italy (4K Video)

Venice, the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. It has no roads, just canals – including the Grand Canal thoroughfare – lined with Renaissance and Gothic palaces. The central square, Piazza San Marco, contains St. Mark’s Basilica, which is tiled with Byzantine mosaics, and the Campanile bell tower offering views of the city’s red roofs.
