Tilt-Shift Travel: ‘Los Angeles – California’ (4K)

Los Angeles is the largest city in California and the second-largest city in the USA. Like everything else, L.A. looks much better in miniature. This is one of the last projects that I shot pre-pandemic, in case you wonder why nobody is wearing masks.

Los Angeles is a sprawling Southern California city and the center of the nation’s film and television industry. Near its iconic Hollywood sign, studios such as Paramount Pictures, Universal and Warner Brothers offer behind-the-scenes tours. On Hollywood Boulevard, TCL Chinese Theatre displays celebrities’ hand- and footprints, the Walk of Fame honors thousands of luminaries and vendors sell maps to stars’ homes.

Tilt-Shift Travel: Moldova -Eastern Europe (Video)

Moldova is supposedly the least visited country in Europe and the second poorest country in Europe. While this might not sound very inviting to most people, I found this country to become my favorite destination on my pre-pandemic East Europe trip. The people are lovely, landscapes are beautiful, there is lots of interesting history and architecture and i had the best Pelmeni and Borscht ever there…

Moldova is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north, east, and south. This film was shot in Țipova, Orhei Vechi, Soroca, Bendery Fortress in Transnistria (did not get enough footage for a separate Transnistria episode, so these clips ended up here:) and the capital city Chișinău.

Timelapse Travel Videos: ‘Scottish Highland’ (2020)

Filmed and Edited by: Ian Skriczka (aka King of Pixels)

After driving all night to meet my awesome friend, Elisa, we drove to Skye and after a night in Camasunary Bay had an epic roadtrip around Scotland. I watched my drone battery fall out and into a Loch, losing loads of amazing footage, so this little film is made from all the Timelapse footage I took and an ode to my Phantom 4 that sleeps with the fishes now.
