Back in 2017, my buddy Kyle and I flew out to Inner Lake George, just next to Knik Glacier. We found an old canoe and Kyle paddled out through a freezing slushy layer of broken ice. It was incredible, beyond incredible. Check out that shot here to understand what I’m talking about. Ever since then, I have always wanted to keep exploring remote glacier areas and keep creating abstract, adventurous aerials and stories.

Especially considering places and scenes like these won’t be around much longer the ways things are going. So after that first trip, I ended up getting a couple of inflatable paddleboards, thanks to my friends at Body Glove and had high hopes of flying them out to some cool places in the near future. But after a year of non-stop travel and putting things off, I finally got my ideas together, got my buddy Jussi onboard and we set off on some of the most epic adventures I have been a part of to date.

The pass road over the Gotthard can only be described as breathtaking. The route from the canton of Uri to Ticino leads through the wild Schöllenen Gorge with its fabled Devil’s Bridge up to the top of the pass at 2,107 metres above sea level and over the cobblestoned Tremola Road with its 24 spine-tingling switchbacks down into Ticino.

Filmed whilst travelling on the M/V True North through the breathtakingly beautiful Wayag Island chain in the greater Raja Ampat region of West Papua.

Now a marine sanctuary, the Wayag’s are number one in marine biodiversity throughout the world. For this reason it is a mecca for marine biologists and recreational divers.

In this shortfilm I’ve tried to recreate some of the nature great events our beautiful planet has to offer, but in a much smaller scale. Every scene was carefully crafted by hand in miniature. Please see a little bonus making of at the end.

Welcome to India: Bombay, now known as Mumbai, is home of over 12 million people. It is a thriving cosmopolitan, multi-cultural city and the heart of the Bollywood film industry. I visited this stunning metropolis in March 2018 for a commercial project and was able to capture also some B-Roll of the city life.

Every year millions of people come to experience the majestic mountains around Chamonix in the French Alps. Whether theyʼre mountain climbers, backcountry skiers, hikers or tourists – they all embrace the Mont Blanc massif in their very own way. And so did I as a filmmaker and timelapse photographer when I created this timelapse film. It takes you to the higher grounds of the Mont Blanc massif – where nature is shaped by giant mountains and glaciers.

Today, 10,000 people in the U.S. turn 65 every day. The U.S. Census Bureau projects the number of older adults to grow by 55 percent from 2010 to 2050, eventually making up 21 percent of the population.1 Currently, older adults account for more than 40 percent of all inpatient operations, and 33 percent of outpatient procedures performed annually in the U.S. This number will grow as the population ages, and the need for surgical services concurrently rises
The GSV Program will help hospitals of any size prepare for the influx of older adults considering surgery with care standards that define the resources hospitals need to have in place to perform operations effectively, efficiently, and safely in this vulnerable population. The standards take into account that older adults have distinct physical and social vulnerabilities, as well as unique goals for their care, that warrant a more thorough and individualized approach to surgery.
The standards outline processes for systematically improving older adult surgical care, including, but not limited to:
