Manarola is a small town, a frazione of the comune of Riomaggiore, in the province of La Spezia, Liguria, northern Italy. It is the second-smallest of the famous Cinque Terre towns frequented by tourists, with a population of 353.

San Gimignano is an Italian hill town in Tuscany, southwest of Florence. Encircled by 13th-century walls, its old town centers on Piazza della Cisterna, a triangular square lined with medieval houses. It has a skyline of medieval towers, including the stone Torre Grossa. The Duomo di San Gimignano is a 12th-century church with frescoes by Ghirlandaio in its Santa Fina Chapel.

One of its best-known natural sites is the Blue Grotto, a dark cavern where the sea glows electric blue, the result of sunlight passing through an underwater cave. In summer, Capri’s dramatic, cove-studded coastline draws many yachts.

The village extends for almost 2 km (1.2 miles) along the northern edge of the caldera, at a height of between 70 and 100 m (230 and 330 feet) above sea level. It is built on the steep slope of the caldera and the houses and restaurants are built into niches carved into the caldera on the seaward side. Oia paths are very narrow and hence gets congested during the tourist season. The idyllic surroundings of the village have a complex of white washed, blue domed churches and charming, traditional Cycladic houses. Oia has some of the island’s best hotels and restaurants as well as high-end shopping. Pula, a seafront city on the tip of Croatia’s Istrian Peninsula, is known for its protected harbor, beach-lined coast and Roman ruins. Settled in the prehistoric era and valued for its strategic location, Pula has been occupied, destroyed and rebuilt numerous times. The Romans, Ostrogoths and Venetians, as well as the Allied Forces in World War II, have each administered the city.
Walking Tour: Looe in Cornwall, England (4K)
Looe is a coastal town and civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England, with a population of 5,280 at the 2011 census. Looe is 20 miles west of Plymouth and seven miles south of Liskeard, divided in two by the River Looe, East Looe and West Looe being connected by a bridge.
We start our tour in East Looe in front of the beach and explore the harbour with it’s brightly coloured fishing boats. We then explore the winding streets of the charming town centre, lined with welcoming pubs, restaurants and Cornish pasty shops, before heading over the bridge to West Looe and a fantastic view across the river and out to sea. With so many people wondering where to holiday in the UK this year, you can see why Cornwall England continues to rank at the top.
Swiss Villages: Foroglio – Waterfall In Ticino (4K)
FOROGLIO in Ticino is probably mostly known for the waterfall of the same name. The waterfall can be seen from all over the village. It is possible to reach, or at least get closer to, the waterfall from two sides, an easy path close to the foot of the fall and a more challenging hike from the opposite end of the village. The reward for the challenging route is a fantastic view over the valley and directly to the side of the waterfall. At a height of more than 100 meters, it splashes down the rocks causing a cooling mist of water. The stream from the Calnegia river then ends up in the Bavona river.
The village Foroglio, like most of the small villages in the Bavona Valley is without electricity, but it is still possible to have a delicious lunch in the Osteria Froda. The stone house village is very picturesque and complete tranquil, except at the most touristic periods.
