Walks: ‘Camden Market’ In London, England (Video)

In this video we take a walking tour of Camden Market or Camden Lock. Started in 1976, Camden Market started off as a small arts and crafts fair in the backyard of Dingwalls. Originally it was temporary and only open on Sundays, however its popularity grew fast. Today it is one of the largest market in London, open seven days a week. Recorded: Dec 2020.

Over the years the Beautiful Destinations Team has been to the Emirates many times. However, we’ve only ever explored Dubai & Abu Dhabi. For our first trip of 2021 we’ve decided to come to the Emirates to show you something a little different. You’ve all seen the futuristic skylines of Dubai & Abu Dhabi but have you ever seen the great outdoors of the Emirates? This was shot across Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai as the #BDTeam​ explored the mountains, deserts, beaches and waters of the country. There are so many hidden gems in the Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates, sometimes simply called the Emirates, is a country in Western Asia located at the eastern end of the Arabian Peninsula. It borders Oman and Saudi Arabia, and has maritime borders in the Persian Gulf with Qatar and Iran.

Travel: ‘Thailand’ (Video)

Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It’s known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an ultramodern cityscape rises next to quiet canalside communities and the iconic temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew). Nearby beach resorts include bustling Pattaya and fashionable Hua Hin. 

Walking Tour: Kitsuki City In Japan (4K Video)

Kitsuki City is located at the southern end of the Kunisaki Peninsula, facing north across Oita City and Beppu Bay. During the Edo period, Matsudaira of Kitsuki clan prospered as a castle town of 32,000 koku of rice, and was the political and economic center of the Kunisaki Peninsula until the abolition of the fief.

Travel Views: ‘Lake Thun – Switzerland’ (4K Video)

Lake Thun is an Alpine lake in Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland region. Its shore is dotted with towns, including Thun, and Romanesque churches. In Thun’s old town, 12th-century Thun Castle houses a museum exhibiting prehistoric and medieval artifacts. To the south, Schadau Park has the Thun Panorama, a 19th-century 360-degree painting of the town. Farther south is Spiez Castle, with furnished 15th-century courtrooms. 

Walks: ‘Baden’ – A Spa Town Near Vienna, Austria (4K)

Baden bei Wien is a spa town southwest of Vienna, the Austrian capital. The focus of its main square is the Trinity Column plague memorial. Narrow surrounding streets are known for their 19th-century Biedermeier architecture. The leafy Kurpark features the Casino Baden, memorials to composers like Beethoven and Mozart, and trails leading to Kalvarienberg, a hill where the park transitions into the Vienna Woods.

Venice Palazzo Tour: Castello On Canal (Video)

Five minutes from the Ponte di Rialto and Piazza San Marco, elegant restored apartment on the first floor of a 17th-century historic palazzo in the Castello district, Venice. The property (85 sqm) is made up of an ample living room with cooking corner, a studio/bedroom, double bedroom, and bathroom. The building was recently restored and improved with the restoration of the private bridge, the porta d’acqua and the beautiful entrance hall.

Castello, Venice, covers a large vibrant area, with one section bordering St. Mark’s Square and dotted with luxury hotels. Farther from St. Mark’s, the neighborhood gets more laid-back, with casual bars where locals stop in for a glass of wine. Shops and eateries catering to all budgets line buzzing Via Garibaldi. In alternating years, the Giardini della Biennale park hosts the Biennale exhibition of contemporary art. 

Walks: ‘Kathmandy City – Nepal’ (4k Video)

Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, is set in a valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. At the heart of the old city’s mazelike alleys is Durbar Square, which becomes frenetic during Indra Jatra, a religious festival featuring masked dances. Many of the city’s historic sites were damaged or destroyed by a 2015 earthquake. Durbar Square’s palace, Hanuman Dhoka, and Kasthamandap, a wooden Hindu temple, are being rebuilt.
