Views: Tahne Ancient City In Southeast China (4K)

Tanhe Ancient City, based on the Tanheli Site, is China’s first park themed on the Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-256 BC).

The Zhou Dynasty was the source and heyday of the Chinese civilization, and it created a splendid culture. Ningxiang where the Tanhe Ancient City is located is known as the “Hometown of Bronze wares in South China.” It has been the source of a number of important bronze wares, including the Four-ram Zun Vessel, a vessel of the late Shang Dynasty (c. 16th-11th century BC), and the Bronze Ding with human-mask design. It is also the center of ritual and music culture in China.

The cultural genes of the Zhou Dynasty have been passed down from generation to generation, and are influential to this day. The scenic area of the Tanhe Ancient City has simple and solemn palaces and temples as well as noisy and bustling old streets. Chime bells, poems, and rituals here make the life of three thousand years ago come back again, and the civilization from a distant age seems to reappear.

Views: The Natural Beauty Of California In Timelapse

California, home to lush forests, mountains, deserts, and hundreds of miles of coastline. From the redwood forests in the north, to the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the east, to the Mojave Desert in the south. California has some of the most amazing scenery in the United States. The state claims the tallest point in the lower 48 with Mount Whitney to the lowest point at Badwater Basin in Death Valley, only about 85 miles apart as the crow flies. California also has some of the oldest, tallest, and largest trees in the world.

This film was shot over the span of almost five years beginning in late 2018 and is my first attempt at a full length timelapse film. Being a California native I found the subject of my own home state as the perfect project. During that time I shot over 43,000 images as part of this project producing over a hundred individual timelapse clips from some of my most favorite locations in the state. And while there have been many timelapse films on California, this is my version which I’m proud to share.

Special thanks to the many friends who accompanied me on many of the shoots, often to help carry heavy camera gear over miles of hiking trails and spent many hours waiting around while my cameras clicked away. Their help and support it greatly appreciated.

Views: The Volcanoes And Rainforests Of Indonesia

We are greatly inspired by nature’s beauty. And that feeling was especially strong while we were visiting Indonesia. At first, we couldn’t even believe that all this is real. Giant trees with leaves as big as people. Beaches with waves higher than most houses. Volcanoes surrounded by deserted valleys with unbelievable colours.

Our project aims to immerse the viewer into that fantastic atmosphere: with every frame of video footage, with every note of orchestral music. We want you to really feel the overwhelming beauty of those flights. We have been working on this project for a 1,5 year. And every day of work brought us back to those places and the emotions we experienced.

We lived on Java and Bali for 4 months and it allowed us to feel the islands, to absorb the local atmosphere. It helped us to find the best angles and composition to capture the immense beauty of Indonesia. And now we’re finally ready to share it with you.
