Walking Tour: Bangkok Phra Nakhon – Thailand
Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire.
Walking Tour: Amalfi – The Amalfi Coast, Italy (4K)
Amalfi is a town in a dramatic natural setting below steep cliffs on Italy’s southwest coast. Between the 9th and 11th centuries, it was the seat of a powerful maritime republic. The Arab-Norman Sant’Andrea cathedral at the heart of town, with its striped Byzantine facade, survives from this era. The Museo Arsenale Amalfi is a medieval shipyard-turned-exhibition space.

The fashionable Marais district in the 4th arrondissement, also known as SoMa (South Marais), is filled with hip boutiques, galleries, and gay bars. Once the city’s Jewish quarter, the area still hosts numerous kosher restaurants. The grassy Place des Vosges is home to elegant arcades and the Musée Victor Hugo, where the writer lived. Streets around Saint-Paul metro lead to the Maison Européenne de la Photographie.
Rome Walks: The Trevi Fountain & Pantheon
The Trevi Fountain is a fountain in the Trevi district in Rome, Italy, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini and several others. Standing 26.3 metres (86 ft) high and 49.15 metres (161.3 ft) wide, it is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world. The fountain at the junction of three roads marks the terminal point of the “modern” Acqua Vergine, the revived Aqua Virgo, one of the aqueducts that supplied water to ancient Rome. In 19 BC, supposedly with the help of a virgin, Roman technicians located a source of pure water some 13 km (8.1 mi) from the city. (This scene is presented on the present fountain’s façade.) However, the eventual indirect route of the aqueduct made its length some 22 km (14 mi). This Aqua Virgo led the water into the Baths of Agrippa. It served Rome for more than 400 years.
The Pantheon from Greek Pantheion, “temple of all the gods” is a former Roman temple and since the year 609 a Catholic church (Basilica di Santa Maria ad Martyres or Basilica of St. Mary and the Martyrs), in Rome, Italy, on the site of an earlier temple commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD). It was rebuilt by the emperor Hadrian and probably dedicated c. 126 AD. Its date of construction is uncertain, because Hadrian chose not to inscribe the new temple but rather to retain the inscription of Agrippa’s older temple, which had burned down.

Walks: The White Birch Forest & Shirakoma Pond in Nagano, Japan (4K Video)
The Yachiho Plateau extends to the eastern foot of Mt. Northern Yatsugatake. On this vast Yachiho Plateau, 500,000 birch forests are vegetated on a site of about 200 ha. The forest is called the best birch forest in the Orient. At the top of the Yachiho Plateau is Shirakoma Pond, the largest lake in Japan, where moss and native forest are mysterious. The pond has a circumference of 1.35 kilometers and is located in the highlands at an altitude of 2,000 meters.

Views: The ‘Simmenfälle’ – Switzerland (4K Video)
The springs of the River Simme, which gives the valley its name, is situated on the Rezliberg above Lenk, right at the foot of a mighty limestone wall. The Simme erupts here into a mass of white foam. In summer, up to 2’800 litres flow via the seven springs every second. The «Sibe Brünne», a magical waterfall, is a renowned source of power and a wonderful place to spend some time.
The Simmenfälle is a powerful waterfall near Oberried (Lenk) in the region Berner Oberland, Switzerland.
The Simmenfälle is very easy to reach. From Zweisimmen drive to Lenk and further to Oberried, the end of the valley. Park the car somewhere near the restaurant (the big parking is only for customers). From here it is a few minute walk to the base of the Simmenfälle.
The Simmenfälle cascades down with great force with a descend of appr. 40 meter. A nice spectacle to see. There is a trail along the waterfall going further up to the Barbarabrücke (the upper part of the Simmenfälle) and the Simmenquelle (Siebenbrunne), a karstic waterfall.

Italian Village Walks: Civitavecchia di Arpino
A walking tour in 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗶 𝗔𝗿𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼, region 𝗟𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼, center Italy, province of Frosinone, a small town of about 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟮𝟯 𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 The birth of the first settlement on today’s Arpinian territory can be traced back to the Volsci. However, dating is difficult. Some scholars fix its birth around the 7th-6th century. BC, others, however, around the middle of the 4th century. B.C. Beyond Arpino there are several cities founded in the Ciociaria area by this ancient population. That of the Volsci was a population that lived above all on agriculture and pastoralism, but it was also very warlike. The wars with Rome are proof of this. The choice to build the first settlement on such high ground was due to defensive objectives. In fact, that of the Volsci was not the only population in central Italy and Marsi and Sanniti were among the most dangerous. It is for this reason that huge cyclopean (or polygonal) walls were erected to defend what would become Civitavecchia di Arpino, still visible today.
Walking Tour: Positano – Amalfi Coast, Italy (4K)
Positano is a cliffside village on southern Italy’s Amalfi Coast. It’s a well-known holiday destination with a pebble beachfront and steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes. Its Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta features a majolica-tiled dome and a 13th-century Byzantine icon of the Virgin Mary. The Sentiero degli Dei hiking trail links Positano to other coastal towns.
