Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths.

Bike Tours: ‘Lucca – Northern Italy (4K Video)

Lucca is a city on the Serchio river in Italy’s Tuscany region. It’s known for the well-preserved Renaissance walls encircling its historic city center and its cobblestone streets. Broad, tree-lined pathways along the tops of these massive 16th- and 17th-century ramparts are popular for strolling and cycling. Casa di Puccini, where the great opera composer was born, is now a house museum.

Biking Tour: Palermo – Island Of Sicily, Italy (4K)

Palermo is the capital of the Italian island of Sicily. The 12th-century Palermo Cathedral houses royal tombs, while the huge neoclassical Teatro Massimo is known for opera performances. Also in the center are the Palazzo dei Normanni, a royal palace started in the 9th century, and the Cappella Palatina, with Byzantine mosaics. Busy markets include the central Ballarò street market and the Vucciria, near the port. 

Bike Tours: ‘Park Of The Aqueducts’ – Rome (4K)

Ancient Park of the Aqueducts (Parco degli Acquedotti) in Rome located just outside the city on  the Appian Way. The Roman water system consisted of artificial channels for conveying water and run for some or all of their path through tunnels constructed underground. There are three Roman aqueducts which gave a possibility for Roman inhabitants to receive 1.000 liters of water per each person daily in 52 A.D.

Bike Rides: Ruhr River In Essen Werden, Germany

Today we will start our bike ride in Essen Werden, Germany, at the Ruhr River. We will then continue cycling to Kettwig and without a break proceed to Mülheim an der Ruhr. You will see lots of untouched nature.

Werden is a southern borough of the city of Essen in Germany. It belongs to the city district IX Werden/Kettwig/Bredeney and has 9,998 inhabitants as of June 30, 2006. The borough occupies a space of 4.04 km² and is situated at a median height of 58 m above sea level.
