Walking Tour: Bremen – Northwest Germany (4K)

Bremen is a city straddling the Weser River in northwest Germany. It’s known for its role in maritime trade, represented by Hanseatic buildings on the Market Square. The ornate and Gothic town hall has a Renaissance facade and large model ships in its upper hall. Nearby is the Roland statue, a giant stone figure symbolizing freedom of trade. St. Peter’s Cathedral features medieval crypts and twin spires.

Evening Walks: Waikiki – Honolulu, Hawaii (4K)

High-rise hotels line the shore in Waikiki, a vibrant neighborhood known for its popular surf beach. Designer fashion stores line Kalakaua Avenue and nearby streets, and the area buzzes after dark with waterside cocktail bars, fine dining and Kuhio Beach hula shows. Honolulu Zoo is home to Komodo dragons and wandering peacocks, while parrotfish and urchins inhabit Waikiki Aquarium’s reef exhibit. 

Walking Tour: Bayreuth – Southern Germnay (4K)

Bayreuth is a town on the Red Main river in Bavaria, Germany. At its center is the Richard Wagner Museum in the composer’s former home, Villa Wahnfried. Wagner’s operas are performed at the Bayreuther Festspielhaus, home of the annual Bayreuth Festival. On the eastern outskirts, the Hermitage Gardens surrounds the Altes Schloss Eremitage palace and the Temple of the Sun (Sonnentempel), honoring the god Apollo. 

Walking Tour: Rotterdam – The Netherlands (4K)

Rotterdam is a major port city in the Dutch province of South Holland. The Maritime Museum’s vintage ships and exhibits trace the city’s seafaring history. The 17th-century Delfshaven neighborhood is home to canalside shopping and Pilgrim Fathers Church, where pilgrims worshiped before sailing to America. After being almost completely reconstructed following WWII, the city is now known for bold, modern architecture. 

Walks: Kailua Beach On Oahu, Hawaii (4K Video)

Kailua Beach been voted the Best Beach in America in several different surveys, with special attention to it’s walking aspect. The 3 miles of beautiful fine, soft white sand along this crescent shaped bay borders the clear turquoise waters which have a consistent year round temperature of about 75 degrees F (25 C). The steady off shore trade winds, water temperature and protective reef make this bay a popular arena for all sorts of water sports. Looking to the north from the beach, you will see the Mokapu Peninsula (pic of the base) which houses the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base.  To the south are the world famous Mokulua Islands. 

Walking Tour: Isle Of Skye – Scotland (4K Video)

The Isle of Skye, connected to Scotland’s northwest coast by bridge, is known for its rugged landscapes, picturesque fishing villages and medieval castles. The largest island in the Inner Hebrides archipelago, it has an indented coastline of peninsulas and narrow lochs, radiating out from a mountainous interior. The town of Portree, a base for exploring the island, features harbourside pubs and boutiques.

Walking Tour: Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a German ski resort in Bavaria, formed when 2 towns united in 1935. It’s a prominent destination for skiing and ice skating as well as hiking. The town lies near the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest peak, with a 2,962m summit accessed by cogwheel train and cable car. Garmisch is considered the more fashionable section, while Partenkirchen’s cobblestone streets retain a traditional Bavarian feel. 

Walks: Bad Neuenahr – Western Germany (4K)

Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is a spa town in the German  Bundesland  of Rhineland-Palatinate that serves as the capital of the Ahrweiler district. The A61motorway connects the town with cities like  Cologne  and Mainz. Formed by the merging of the towns (now districts) of Bad Neuenahr and Ahrweiler in 1969, Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler consists of 11 such districts.
