Walks: ‘Thames Town’ In Shanghai, China (4K Video)

Thames Town is a new town in Songjiang District, about 30 kilometres from central Shanghai. It is named after the River Thames in London, United Kingdom. The architecture is themed according to classic British market town styles. There are cobbled streets, Victorian terraces, corner shops and red telephone boxes.

Walks: ‘Montmartre – Paris In Snow’ (4K Video)

Montmartre is a large hill in Paris’s 18th arrondissement. It is 130 m high and gives its name to the surrounding district, part of the Right Bank in the northern section of the city.

Walking Tour: ‘Bayreuth – Germany’ (4K Video)

Bayreuth is a town on the Red Main river in Bavaria, Germany. At its center is the Richard Wagner Museum in the composer’s former home, Villa Wahnfried. Wagner’s operas are performed at the Bayreuther Festspielhaus, home of the annual Bayreuth Festival. On the eastern outskirts, the Hermitage Gardens surrounds the Altes Schloss Eremitage palace and the Temple of the Sun (Sonnentempel), honoring the god Apollo.

In this video we take a walking tour of Camden Market or Camden Lock. Started in 1976, Camden Market started off as a small arts and crafts fair in the backyard of Dingwalls. Originally it was temporary and only open on Sundays, however its popularity grew fast. Today it is one of the largest market in London, open seven days a week. Recorded: Dec 2020.

Kitsuki City is located at the southern end of the Kunisaki Peninsula, facing north across Oita City and Beppu Bay. During the Edo period, Matsudaira of Kitsuki clan prospered as a castle town of 32,000 koku of rice, and was the political and economic center of the Kunisaki Peninsula until the abolition of the fief.

Walks: ‘Baden’ – A Spa Town Near Vienna, Austria (4K)

Baden bei Wien is a spa town southwest of Vienna, the Austrian capital. The focus of its main square is the Trinity Column plague memorial. Narrow surrounding streets are known for their 19th-century Biedermeier architecture. The leafy Kurpark features the Casino Baden, memorials to composers like Beethoven and Mozart, and trails leading to Kalvarienberg, a hill where the park transitions into the Vienna Woods.

Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, is set in a valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. At the heart of the old city’s mazelike alleys is Durbar Square, which becomes frenetic during Indra Jatra, a religious festival featuring masked dances. Many of the city’s historic sites were damaged or destroyed by a 2015 earthquake. Durbar Square’s palace, Hanuman Dhoka, and Kasthamandap, a wooden Hindu temple, are being rebuilt.

Ölüdeniz is a resort village on the southwest coast of Turkey. It’s known for the blue lagoon of Ölüdeniz Tabiat Parkı and the wide, white Belcekız Beach. Overlooking the village is Babadağ mountain from where paragliders take to the skies. The Lycian Way is a long-distance marked footpath starting in Ölüdeniz, and has coastal views. To the south, Butterfly Valley is a nature reserve with a secluded bay. 

Walks: ‘Seishō-ji Temple’ In Tokyo, Japan (4K HDR Video)

Seisho-ji is a temple located in the Toronomon Hills area of central Tokyo. It is part of the Soto sect of Zen Buddhism and moved to its location on Mount Atago in 1600. It sits among a complex of other Buddhist temples and a Shinto Shrine. The various temples are separated by a set of gardens that wrap in and out of a wealthy urban high-rise office setting.​

At the Seisho-ji temple itself, resident monks offer zazen orientation for any level of meditator. Timing is flexible while the temple is open (9:00-17:00). It depends on temple’s schedule; please contact staff (contact below).
