Tilt-Shift Timelapse Views: Summer In Bavarian Alps

Little Big World (July 24, 2023) – Schloss Elmau is a five-star hotel and national monument, situated between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald in a sanctuary of the Bavarian Alps, Germany.

It lies at the foot of the Wetterstein mountains. It’s the only venu, that has hosted the G7 Summit twice. I was lucky enough to be invided by them to shoot footage from the summer activities in the valley sourrounding the hotel. Thanks to Naomi Jödicke for making this episode happen.

Winter 2022: Garmisch-Partenkirchen In Bavaria

Little Big World (December 12, 2022) – Garmisch-Partenkirchen is an Alpine ski town in Bavaria, southern Germany. Nearby is Germany’s highest mountain, Zugspitze, at 2,962 metres (9,718 ft) above sea level.

Garmisch (in the west) and Partenkirchen (in the east) were separate towns for many centuries, and still maintain quite separate identities with a rivalery going on between them that is mostly on ironic terms, but not always though…

After a great collaboration with GaPa Tourismus last summer (https://youtu.be/Dt46yJNBiEQ ) we decided to team up again and shoot a winter episode.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a German ski resort in Bavaria, formed when 2 towns united in 1935. It’s a prominent destination for skiing and ice skating as well as hiking. The town lies near the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest peak, with a 2,962m summit accessed by cogwheel train and cable car. Garmisch is considered the more fashionable section, while Partenkirchen’s cobblestone streets retain a traditional Bavarian feel.

Lake Views: The Eibsee In Bavaria, Germany (4K)

Eibsee is a lake in Bavaria, Germany, 9 km southwest of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and roughly 100 km southwest of Munich. It is at the northerly base of the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain. 

Known as the Carribean of Bavaria, this lake in Germany has 8 unusual Islands and it is absolutely breath taking.
